We are a user group located in Silicon Valley. Our mission is to help filmmakers of all levels develop high quality content using a Macintosh-based workflow. While an emphasis of MacFilmmakers is post-production with Final Cut Studio, we also look at the entire production cycle from project development through distribution.

Please remember with a zero-budget, all-volunteer organization we are sometimes (OK, frequently) challenged to be timely. As you'll see in the new meeting announcement entry, we unexpectedly lost our previously-planned major speaker and had to scramble to put together a new agenda, only confirming Sabrina's gracious return engagement a few minutes ago. That's life in the user group slow lane, always taxing...
